Warehouse Attendant at 3 MAT Supermarkets

Job Description

• We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Attendant to join our team at 3 MAT Supermarket.
• The Warehouse Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
• This position involves handling inventory, fulfilling orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and appropriately store incoming inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and cycle counting.

Order Fulfillment:

• Prepare orders by pulling items from shelves or storage areas.
• Pack and label items for shipping or delivery according to company standards.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate order shipments.
• Handle and process returns or exchanges efficiently.

Warehouse Organization:

• Organize and arrange inventory in designated storage areas.
• Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free of obstacles.
• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment for moving and storing inventory safely.

Quality Control:

• Inspect products for defects or damages before shipping or storage.
• Ensure that products are stored in appropriate conditions to maintain quality.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
• Report any safety hazards, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.
• Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects or packages.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Certification or training in operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery.
• Knowledge of proper handling and storage of various types of inventory (perishable goods, fragile items, etc.).
