Warehouse and Logistics Manager at AACE Food Processing & Distribution Limited

Responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound and outbound movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Develop and enforce procedures for inventory control, ensuring adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles and traceability standards.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts, overstocking, or expiry-related losses.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, route planning, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-efficient distribution.
• Prepare and present weekly reports on stock movement, inventory accuracy, dispatch performance, and logistics KPIs.
• Lead and manage warehouse personnel, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and enforcing safety and hygiene practices.
• Oversee stock counting exercises (cycle counts, monthly/quarterly physical counts) and ensure timely reconciliation with system records.
• Drive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, picking efficiency, space utilization, and order turnaround time.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance to ensure operational alignment and timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, losses, or delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor the condition and maintenance of warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.
• Support audit activities and ensure completeness of logistics and warehouse records for traceability and accountability.

Qualifications

•  B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Professional certification in logistics or warehousing (e.g., CILT, APICS) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in a similar warehouse/logistics role, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems, ERP/WMS software, and logistics planning.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant logistics software.
