Visual Designer at Carbon Nigeria

We are looking for a Visual designer to join our team. You will be responsible for animating, applying illustration and motion design styles based on established brand guidelines, filming, editing, and graphic designing. We seek a self-starter with advanced knowledge of design concepts and tools, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas within ambitious timelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unique motion graphics in various media, including web, mobile, etc.
• Use animation to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems.
• Provide patterns, best practices, and guidance on animation and transitions for different devices (such as TV, tablets, wearables, mobile, etc.) and platforms (such as web, Android, iOS, etc.).
• Conceptualize and create visuals base on the requirement
• Collaborate closely with marketing, user experience designers, product managers, and engineers to define, challenge, and solve complex problems to enhance interactivity and delight users.
• Conceptualize and create storyboards, designs, and animations, using different styles and approaches for deliverables as needed.
• Shoot and edit appropriate imagery for social media and web platforms.
• Ensures that all digital files from production are maintained and properly archived 
• Help to sustain and guide the creative process.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience working on visual design and motion graphics projects and campaigns
• Portfolio of work demonstrating proficiency with motion graphics
• Advanced knowledge of tools and best practices in motion graphics and animation
• Experience with videography and photography
