Van Sales Representative at PZ Cussons

Main Objective

• To sell PZ Cussons brands at recommended prices and ensure constant DVMPP (Distribution,Visibility, Merchandizing,Price and Persuasion) in all retail outlets in the assigned routes.

Detailed Tasks / Responsibilities

• Sell only specified PZ Cussons brands to all retail outlets in the assigned routes
• Visit retail outlet in the assigned routes/journey plan at least once a week
• Ensure excellent in-store execution of all PZ Cussons brands in all direct coverage outlets
• Ensure that recommended prices are maintained/strictly adhered to in all trade channels within the assigned routes
• Record stock/sales on HHD (Hand-Held Device) during each sales visit
• Sell adequate quantities to ensure that outlets do not run out of stock before the next visit date
• Collect cash for all sales made
• Reconcile stock received, sales made, and cash taken at the end of each working day
• Implement/monitor PZ Cussons promotional activities at the retail level
• Prospect for new retail outlets on a continuous basis
• Monitor competitive activities and report to the supervising CSM accordingly
• Retrieve/report cases of product quality/complaints to the supervising CSM accordingly
• Complete all sales documentation records accurately and promptly
• Merchandise all outlets with all available POS (Point of Sales) materials
• Attend daily morning meetings
• Update route list on a continuous basis and review with CSM every month

Knowledge / Experience

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Ordinary Level Diploma (OND)
• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Ability to communicate well in both written and spoken English
• Possess current Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive a pick-up van or a 1.5-ton truck.
