Valves and Metering Engineer at GIL Automation

Job Description

• Managing the engineering team who ensure that all capital projects delivered are technically fit for purpose and meet the statutory requirement.
• Identify and troubleshoot common valves issues such as leaks, mechanical failure and wear.
• Support the disassembly and assembly Of valves for the part replacement, cleaning and conditioning.
• Assist in evaluating valves performance and ensuring that valves meet customer specifications
• Help perform routine testing of valves such as leak testing, pressure testing and flow testing.
• Assist in maintaining and calibration of field instruments for accurate process control.
• Proficient in excel, powerpoint, autocad/matlab.
• Proper understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Requirements

• Education: BSC or it's equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Control System and Process Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 -7 years In Valve Calibration, Flow Measurement, Instrumentation and Project Management within the Oil and Gas Industry.
