Utility Engineer – FMCG at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Utility Engineer with proven experience in the FMCG/manufacturing industry to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot critical plant utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, steamers, HVAC systems, cooling towers, compressors, pumps, and generators.
• Monitor utility parameters including pressure, temperature, flow, and energy consumption.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Monitor steam, chilled water, compressed air, water, and power supply.
• Maintain utility records and monitor equipment performance.
• Support energy efficiency and utility cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and plant operating standards.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years' relevant experience in FMCG/manufacturing is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with chillers, boilers, steamers, HVAC, cooling towers, compressors, and pumps.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
• Good understanding of industrial utility systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and respond to equipment breakdowns.
