UI / UX & Brand Designer at Payzeep

Job Description

Responsibilities

User Interface (UI) Design:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
• Create visually consistent and pixel-perfect UI elements, icons, and graphical assets.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
• Stay updated on the latest UI trends, design patterns, and best practices.

User Experience (UX) Design:

• Conduct user research to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
• Develop user personas, user journeys, and customer experience maps.
• Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the technical feasibility of designs.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

Branding:

• Develop and maintain a strong and consistent visual brand identity for payZeep.
• Design and update brand guidelines, including logo usage, color palettes, typography, and visual styles.
• Create marketing collateral, such as banners, social media graphics, presentations, and print materials.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
• Provide design support for brand-related campaigns and initiatives.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives and user needs.
• Present and communicate design concepts, ideas, and solutions effectively to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs.
• Actively participate in design critiques, team discussions, and brainstorming sessions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer and Brand Designer, preferably in a fintech or technology company.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of branding principles, typography, color theory, and visual design.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and solutions effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
