As the Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company’s fleet of trucks to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal operational downtime.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine faults in company trucks
Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, and engine checks
Inspect trucks regularly to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
Maintain service records and report major repairs or replacement needs to management
Ensure all repair work meets safety and operational standards.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or Technical/Vocational certification in Automobile Mechanics
2 – 4 years experience repairing and maintaining trucks or heavy-duty vehicles
Relevant technical certification in Automobile/Heavy Duty Mechanics is an advantage
Strong knowledge of truck engines, braking systems, and mechanical components
Ability to diagnose faults quickly and perform effective repairs.
