Treasury Associate at Renmoney

Description

• The Treasury Officer is responsible for assisting the Treasurer in the management of Renmoney’s liquidity position, to achieve optimal profitability while minimizing risk exposure.
• You will provide timely and relevant Balance Sheet information to facilitate strategic decision making.        

Responsibilities 

• Prepare daily liquidity and repayment reports
• Initiate funds transfer and Bank placements
• Daily review of all bank statements
• Periodic Bank reconciliation of all relevant LCY accounts and registers
• Ensure adequate funding of disbursement and other operational accounts.
• Ensure regular updates of Bank mandates and other correspondence
• Advise/post entries for interbank transfers and other treasury transactions
• Maintain an organized filing system for Treasury related banking instructions and requests
• Deposit ticket and expense review for disbursement

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a University Degree or equivalent in any field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Treasury or Finance role
• ACA (ICAN), CIMA or ACCA qualification / Student membership
• Possess strong data analysis, Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Sound knowledge & understanding of the Nigerian economy and financial markets
• Strong analytical skills and interpretation capabilities
• Demonstrate solid ability to mine data to produce actionable insights
