Treasury Associate at Renmoney

The position

The Treasury Officer is responsible for assisting the Treasurer in the management of Renmoney’s liquidity position, to achieve optimal profitability while minimizing risk exposure. You will provide timely and relevant Balance Sheet information to facilitate strategic decision making.        

Responsibilities 

• Monitor and measure liquidity and funding requirements and ensure compliance with company standards
• Monitor Balance Sheet triggers and regulatory ratios
• Initiate funds transfer and Bank placements
• Manage banking relationships and Bureau de change dealings
• Assist in the preparation of ALCO reports
• Conduct a periodic rate survey and market intelligence to aid cost of funds management

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in any field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Treasury or Finance role
• ACA (ICAN), CIMA or ACCA qualification / Student membership
• Possess strong data analysis, Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Sound knowledge & understanding of the Nigerian economy and financial markets
• Strong analytical skills and interpretation capabilities
• Demonstrate solid ability to mine data to produce actionable insights
