    Travel Consultant (B2B/B2C)

    Role Purpose

    • We are looking for a Travel Consultant with great enthusiasm for traveling to work in our Online Travel Agency.
    • He/She will be responsible for promoting and booking traveling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses).
    • The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

    Responsibilities:

    • Follow up on travel requests from our social platforms.
    • Respond to ticket requests from B2B/B2C partners.
    • Identify promo routes and ticket deals that should be promoted.
    • Perform daily pricing comparison of an itinerary between our OTA and identified competitors to create a price positioning report.
    • Advise ticket payable at all times for all requests and ensure we deliver on record response time.
    • Consciously promote all our products likewise other services offered by sister companies.
    • Ensure active participation on the B2B platform and promote constant engagement.
    • Follow up on ticket requests and bookings from the website through calls, and emails immediately after a reservation drops.
    • Manage the existing database of B2B/B2C travel partners and grow the database.
    • Follow up on existing leads through calls and visits with the sole purpose of conversion.
    • Come up with strategies that will increase sales.
    • Reach the revenue and profit targets and meet up with set targets and KPIs.
    • Create and update electronic records of clients.
    • Maintain relationships with key persons.
    • Keep financial statements and documents.

    Requirements:

    • Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant(B2B/B2C) with a minimum of 5yrs working experience.
    • Excellent knowledge of the Amadeus reservation System
    • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
    • Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach
    • Well-versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)
    • Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively
    • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure
    • Degree B.Sc/ HND in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, and Business is an added advantage.
    • Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
