Transportation / Operations Officer at Westfield Consulting

Our client, a Manufacturing Space, is recruiting qualified and passionate candidates to fill the position

Key Responsibilities include

• Developing and implementing transportation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Overseeing fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and fuel management
• Ensuring compliance with transportation safety regulations and company policies
• Scheduling and tracking shipments for timely delivery
• Supervising drivers and logistics staff, and organizing training where necessary
• Managing transport-related budgets and controlling associated costs
• Analyzing transport data to identify areas of improvement and optimize logistics routes
• Coordinating with internal teams, transporters, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or relevant proof of capability)
• 2 to 5 years' experience in transportation coordination or logistics management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and logistics operations.

Salary
N3,600,000 - N4,500,000 annually.
