Trainee Carpenter at Decke-Integra Resources Limited

Location: Berger, Olowora - Lagos

Job Details

• Ability to Clean equipment, facilities and work area in order to maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Ability to install wooden structural components such as timbers or lumber with glue, screws, pegs, or nails and install hardware.
• Ability to measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
• Ability to drill holes in construction materials.
• Ability to cut wood components for installation
• Ability to select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site.

Qualification / Experience/ Skills

• SSCE / NABTEB / Trade test Certification in Carpentry / Furniture Making or successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship.
• Proven experience as carpenter
• In-depth experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Vast in the use of electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English
• Good understanding of basic math
• Good physical condition and endurance.
