Traffic Assistant at Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA)

Candidate for this category MUST possess the following:

• First School leaving Certificate
• Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) with (4) credits obtained at one sitting or (5) credits at not more than two sittings inclusive of English language and Mathematics

Eligible Trades/Crafts:

• Driver/Mechanic (light duty vehicle drivers)
• Driver/Mechanic (heavy duty vehicle/Truck drivers)
• Plumber
• Electrician
• Uniform Tailor (paramilitary)
• Day & Night Security Guard
• Other relevant craft/trade

General Requirements

Applicants should:

• Be of Delta State origin
• Be of good character
• Possess a valid local government area of origin
• Be medically and physically fit (medical report)
• Be of good character and have no criminal record or belong to any cult
• Have completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption certificate (for graduate positions)
• All candidates seeking graduate positions must be computer literate
• Shortlisted female applicants who are pregnant MUST produce pregnancy test certificate from a Government Hospital
• Age limit (16 – 40 years)
