Trading Research Analyst at Automated Exchange Partners Limited

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
• Produce high-quality, data-driven weekly and monthly market outlook reports, analyzing market performance, identifying opportunities and risks, and offering strategic trading recommendations to support informed decision-making across various asset classes.
• Looking back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making such decisions.
• Liaise with line managers and network with industry professionals .
• Monitor financial press closely and keep track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products.
• Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
• Conducting financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities
• Developing and maintaining financial models to support investment decisions, using tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, and other financial software.
• Collaborating with execution traders to develop trading strategies to execute ideas properly.
• Communicating investment recommendations to superiors, both verbally and in writing, including investment reports, presentations, and other materials

Qualifications:

• B.Sc in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven working experience as an Investment Analyst
• PC skills including spreadsheet, presentations, word processing, relational database.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills. Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics.
• Excellent investment analysis software user.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
