Therapist at Tranquil & Quest Medical and Diagnostics Limited

Job Summary:

• The Therapist provides confidential and evidence-based mental health services to patients dealing with emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. The role involves assessment, treatment planning, therapy sessions, patient education, documentation, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy using appropriate therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy)
• Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals
• Refer patients for additional psychiatric evaluation, inpatient care, or specialized services where needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital policy and ethical standards
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and self-care
• Participate in case conferences, peer supervision, and professional development workshops
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice at all times

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field (minimum)
• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or relevant specialization (preferred)
• Valid professional license or registration with relevant psychological association or regulatory body (e.g., NCP, APA, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in therapy or counseling setting
• Experience working in a hospital, mental health center, or multidisciplinary care team
• Proficient in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, trauma-focused therapy, family systems therapy, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
• Strong ethical standards and cultural sensitivity
