    Territory Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Territory Development Officer is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships with dealers, distributors, and customers within an assigned territory.
    • The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, increasing product penetration, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service and market intelligence.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales and Market Development:

    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s market share.
    • Increase product visibility and distribution across key channels within the territory.
    • Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth.

    Dealer and Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key customers.
    • Provide support to partners to ensure product availability and proper market representation.
    • Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

    Territory Management:

    • Plan and execute regular market visits to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
    • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
    • Ensure proper coverage and penetration of all assigned locations within the territory.

    Market Intelligence and Reporting:

    • Gather and report market feedback, competitor activities, and customer insights.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports to management.
    • Provide recommendations to improve product positioning and sales performance.

    Promotional Activities

    • Organize product demonstrations, promotions, and marketing campaigns within the territory.
    • Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • 2–5 years of experience in sales, territory management, or business development.
    • Experience in automobile, spare parts, FMCG, or manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
    • preferably candidate located in Ajah/Agege
