Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment within the depot, including Batch Controllers, motors, control panels, wiring, and lighting systems.
Ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly and comply with safety standards.
Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs on depot equipment and infrastructure.
Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults promptly.
Assist in major repairs and upgrades under the supervision of senior technicians or engineers.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
Support upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines while performing electrical work.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Complete work orders and maintenance logs promptly.
Report equipment status and any issues encountered during maintenance activities.
Assist senior technicians and engineers with complex maintenance tasks and projects.
Participate in training sessions and safety drills to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Diploma/Technical Trade Test or associate qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications or training in electrical maintenance & safety is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or petroleum depot environment.
Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment used in petroleum depots.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
Understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Effective communication skills to report issues and interact with team members.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
