Job Summary

• The Telemarketer is responsible for promoting the company’s loan products to registered civil servants, generating qualified leads, and converting prospects into customers.
• The role involves making phone calls, following up with customers, explaining loan products, and supporting field marketing activities.

 Responsibilities

• Contact registered civil servants by phone to promote the company’s loan products.
• Explain loan options, eligibility, repayment terms, interest rates, and requirements clearly.
• Generate qualified leads and follow up with interested prospects to drive loan applications.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call, lead, and conversion targets.
• Respond to customer enquiries and handle basic concerns professionally.
• Build and maintain good relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Participate in field marketing, corporate visits, customer outreaches, roadshows, and other promotional activities when required.
• Stay updated on company loan products, policies, and procedures.
• Follow company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical marketing standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE, NCE, or ND from a recognised institution.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence and good telephone etiquette.
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and work with targets.
• Previous sales or telemarketing experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to speak Hausa is an added advantage.
