SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF JOB:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that effectively communicates complex information to our users. The Technical Writer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, write and edit technical materials, and ensure the accuracy and clarity of the documentation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand technical concepts.
• Write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, guides, tutorials, API documentation, and release notes.
• Organize and structure content to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease of understanding for the intended audience.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
• Conduct research and verify technical information to ensure accuracy and completeness of content.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to create visual aids, such as diagrams, charts, and screenshots, to accompany written content.
• Manage documentation projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation tools.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, MadCap Flare, Confluence, or other relevant tools).
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to various audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML, XML, or other markup languages is advantageous.
• Portfolio of previous work or writing samples demonstrating technical writing expertise.
