Optimist Media Group is seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team as Technical Team Lead. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for events, including audio-visual setups, lighting, and technical equipment operation.
Collaborate with the Events team to understand technical requirements and ensure seamless event execution.
Take lead in the setup and configuration of audio-visual equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
Troubleshoot technical issues during events and find swift resolutions to minimize disruptions.
Take lead in managing event registration and guest management processes, using event management software and tools.
Take lead with event logistics, such as venue setup, equipment transportation, and technical arrangements.
Maintain and organize technical equipment and inventory, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in event technology and suggest innovative technical solutions.
Support the Team Lead, Events & Technical Team Lead, in various event-related tasks as needed.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, contributing to the success of the Events team.
Education + Experience
A degree or diploma in a relevant technical field, such as Audio-Visual Technology, Event Technology, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in technical support, audio-visual setups, or event technology is a plus.
Familiarity with audio-visual equipment, lighting systems, and technical event solutions.
Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, meeting tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work on-site or remotely, depending on project requirements.
