    Technical Service & Support Technician

    Job Summary

    • Our company is growing rapidly, and we are looking for candidates who want to make a positive impact and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
    • We want people that have a positive attitude, take initiative, are detail oriented and are good problem solvers.
    • This position will start as part-time, leading to full-time.

    Responsibilities

    • Installation and Troubleshooting ofa wide variety of security equipment such as alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, RemotelyControlled Inverter/UPS, and computer networks.
    • Connecting handsets, tablets, routers, and other smart home devicestotesting software to test functionality.
    • Updating device firmware
    • Load devices to cloud software platforms.
    • Configure devices (training provided).

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of an OND in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics Electronics or related fields.
    • Two years experience in a similar role.

    Skills needed for the job:

    • Strong technical background to be able to solve basic issues that arrive when installing ortesting devices and updating firmware.
    • Good computer skills
    • Attention to details.
