You understand, can analyze, and develop the holistic market for Navigation Systems for Vessels, and the Maritime industry in general
Identify and develop new pursuits & strategic relationships with partners and develop new customers in support of Navigation systems opportunities.
Lead development of new business opportunities supportive of overall growth strategy.
Participate in the development of strategic plans and identification of strategic acquisitions. Develop & Execute Capture Plans, Manage Pipelines, Create & Maintain Market/Customer Road Maps, and support product development teams to implement business development initiatives, inclusive of the development & implementation of Business Capture, Sales Funnel, and Proposal Management processes.
Create and apply Customer Roadmaps and Product Roadmap outlines with market, customer needs, competitive Intel, and target pricing for use by product managers to align product development plans
Manage Navigation Systems Business Development Life Cycle
Capture team activities,
Develop & execute commercial and technical proposal processes, manage all proposal development through production and on-time delivery, including win strategies, proposal outline, editing, and graphics, while continuously monitoring quality & configuration mgmt to ensure quality & compliance develop, identify key subcontractors & develop subcontractor selection criteria
Work and share in response to RFP/RFQ/RFI’s with full requirements for shipboard electronic systems including design of hardware, software, testing, environmental qualification inclusive of engineering development models, pre-production units and LRIP/FRP for multiple systems, and naval platforms including but not limited to the following: Integrated Navigation Bridge, Steering Gear Control System, GPS aided Position, Navigation & Timing System, Hybrid Electric Drive Electric Propulsion System, MSC and USCG Machinery Plant Control & Monitoring System Upgrades.
Skillfully negotiate contracts to win set target contract value range per time

You will represent the company at conferences, fairs, and industry networking events
You can communicate with the management within the company
Qualifications
7+ Years as technical and Commercial sales in the Maritime industry
A University degree in engineering, or equivalent technical certifications.
Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Strong knowledge of Navigation Systems theory and applications
Physically Fit.
Flexibility and Agility
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong legal understanding of contracts and excellent negotiation skills
