Technical Sales Engineer / Solar Consultant at Jeho Ashar Energy

Job Description

• Provide technically sound solar solutions while supporting sales through system assessment, design, technical proposals, customer presentations and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess customer energy requirements.
• Conduct site assessments where required.
• Design or support solar PV system design.
• Prepare system configurations, BOMs and technical proposals.
• Explain technical solutions clearly to customers.
• Support sales presentations and negotiations
• Prepare technical quotations and proposals
• Provide technical support throughout the sales process.
• Liaise with installers, engineers, contractors and customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations
• Keep current with solar technologies and products.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in solar design, installation, technical sales or related fields.
• Practical solar PV knowledge.
• Ability to perform basic load assessment and system sizing.
• Knowledge of inverters, batteries, panels and protection devices.
• Solar design software experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer-facing and sales ability
• Relevant engineering/technical qualification is an advantage.
