    Technical Sales Engineer

    Role Objectives

    • We are currently sourcing for Technical Sales Engineers to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Commercial Department.
    • The responsibilities of this role include engineering sales and assisting the Commercial Department achieve sales targets that profitably impacts the bottom line of the Organisation.
    • To be successful in this role, you should have solid selling skills and be familiar with sales and marketing strategies.
    • Ultimately, you will ensure all Commercial activities and operations result into new leads, new clients, sustenance of existing clients and increased revenue for the Organisation.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure growth in sales volume of the department by deepening relationships with existing customers and acquiring new Customers.
    • Provision of relevant technical support & information that will increase / optimise the reliability, convenience, and total cost of ownership of equipment/production lines of Customers.
    • Prepare sales reports of our products and solutions by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information and application trends.
    • Assist in market research on products, markets, and competition throughout West Africa
    • Lead client conversations through emails, phone calls and in person meetings.
    • Develop sales proposals and strategies to drive sales process
    • Perform technical surveys and audits on client sites to determine requirements for engineering solutions
    • Organise and attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
    • Organise regular sales visits to new and existing customers across Nigeria and West Africa

    Education / Professional Qualification

    • A graduate Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Production.
    • Certification in sales or marketing is an added advantage

    Experience:

    • At least 2 - 5 years of proven work experience, preferably in engineering sales or technical sales within FMCG, Beverage, Cement, Oil & Gas, Flour Mill, and Pharma industry
    • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practises

    Competencies and Skills Required:

    • Ability to network and build productive relationships based on business principles.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
    • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Good understanding of the design and operations of production.
    • MS Office proficiency – Words / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / Projects.
    • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and engineering applications.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Ability to deliver quality service always.
    • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
    • Energetic, independent, and self-driven.
    • Willing to travel locally and internationally.
