Technical Sales Advisor at IQVIA

• As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise

• Maintain a high level of technical and professional knowledge of the company's products, applications, and solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of all technical and conceptual product aspects to effectively support customers and internal stakeholders.
• Clearly communicate product functionality, technical concepts, and applications in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations aligned with customer needs and operational requirements.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, concerns, and technical questions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive customer loyalty and retention.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
• Promote products and services to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct customer visits, follow-ups, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and solution-based recommendations.

Reporting & Administration

• Track sales activities and prepare monthly sales reports.
• Accurately record customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within the CRM system.
• Ensure customer data remains accurate and up to date.
• Maintain all sales documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Market Research & Product Feedback

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Identify new product and market opportunities.
• Provide customer insights and market feedback to support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to product improvement initiatives through customer and market feedback.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in technical sales, customer service, or a related technical advisory role.
• Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, Sales & Marketing, Agriculture, Animal Health, or a related field.
• Previous experience within a technical, agricultural, animal health, veterinary, or industrial sales environment will be advantageous.
• Experience working across multiple territories or regional markets is an added advantage.
