Technical Program Manager (Mobile & Web Platforms) at Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs

We\'re looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who can own execution and help turn our roadmap into reality.

Role Summary:

• You will be responsible for coordinating all software development activities across our mobile apps, web platform, admin dashboard and backend systems.
• You will work directly with the CEO and engineering team to ensure projects are properly planned, documented, delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
• This is not a meeting scheduler role.
• We need someone who understands software development and can drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the complete Jira backlog.
• Break product ideas into Epics, Features, User Stories and Tasks.
• Write clear acceptance criteria for developers.
• Plan and coordinate Agile sprints.
• Run sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
• Track dependencies across Mobile, Backend, Web and DevOps.
• Coordinate internal and external developers.
• Identify blockers early and ensure they are resolved.
• Ensure completed work satisfies acceptance criteria before it reaches the Founder.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers and QA testers.
• Manage release planning for iOS, Android and Web.
• Coordinate App Store and Google Play releases.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Produce weekly project status reports.
• Track engineering KPIs and sprint performance.
• Ensure all technical work aligns with product roadmap.
• Escalate project risks before they become problems.

Must Have

• 1+ years managing software development projects.
• Strong Jira experience.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience managing remote engineering teams.
• Experience with Mobile Apps (Android & iOS).
• Experience coordinating Backend and Frontend teams.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Ability to write excellent User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience using Confluence, Notion or similar documentation tools.
• Comfortable reading technical discussions even if not writing code.
• Able to challenge developers professionally when necessary.

Reporting

Reports directly to the CEO.
