Technical Product Manager at Sovereign Finance Limited

Role Description

• Strategy & Vision: Set product direction, understand market gaps, and align with business goals. Lead requirements gathering and technical documentation.
• Own the product roadmap and feature prioritization.
• Technical Expertise: Coordinate integrations with switches, processors, KYC and credit systems
• Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the liaison between engineering, design, marketing, sales, legal, and compliance.
• Execution & Launch: Drive product development, manage releases, and ensure successful product launches - UAT, QA, API testing, and release management.
• Market Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Risk & Compliance: Navigate fast-evolving financial regulations and security needs – (CBN, NDPR, PCI-DSS, AML/CFT) ensuring product integrity

Qualifications

• Product management, API knowledge, UX, analytics, agile delivery.
• Proficiency in Product Strategy to define features, roadmap, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data and inform decision-making for product development and improvement.
• Experience in Program Management to coordinate multiple projects and ensure their successful completion on time and within budget.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry and a passion for delivering impactful financial solutions is an added advantage.
• Degree in Engineering/IT. Product management certification preferred.
