Technical / Procurement Officer at Desicon Engineering Limited

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering drawings for procurement needs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs; evaluate vendor quotations based on cost, quality, and technical compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure alignment between technical requirements and procurement deliverables.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best pricing and terms, ensuring value for money.
• Monitor vendor performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of purchase orders and documentation.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Provide market insights on pricing trends, new products, and supplier developments.
