Technical Operator, FMCG Company at Human Capital Partners (HCP)

Job Summary:

• The Technical Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machines and equipment within the plant.
• This role involves operating machinery according to standard operating procedures, minimizing material waste, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety.
• The Technical Operator will also report malfunctions to the Technical Supervisor and assists with routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and ensure proper functioning of all components of the machines and auxiliary.
• Operate the machine in accordance with the established standard operating procedure and speed targets.
• Ensure material wastages from machines are kept at a minimum acceptable level.
• Report all malfunctions and constraints to the line Technical Supervisor.
• Apply all companies provided protective wear and gadgets and comply with all Health and Safety rules.
• Carry out recommended maintenance as per checklist to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ensure acceptable level of cleanliness in dressing and immediate work area in line with Good Housekeeping Practice.
• Avoid cross contamination of product due to unhygienic state of equipment
• Implement change-over programs as per production schedule.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• First Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years post-NYSC practical, job-relevant experience in a well-structured manufacturing (botting) company, with specific expertise in Krones Machines
• Membership of NSE and COREN certified
