Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Technical Maintenance Officer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and efficient operation of solar and renewable energy systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on solar and renewable energy systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, solar, inverter, battery, and related technical faults.
• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and other renewable energy components.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues before they result in equipment failure.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on installed solar energy systems.
• Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of solar and renewable energy systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 4–5 years of relevant technical maintenance experience, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, electrical, or power sector.
• Strong practical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, electrical installations, and related equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
