    Technical Lead, Upstream Services

    About the Job

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead, Upstream Services to drive excellence in our upstream operations.
    • This role is critical to ensuring seamless project execution, compliance, and stakeholder engagement in the oil and gas sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive technical and commercial support to the Upstream Unit, ensuring seamless project execution.
    • Manage the processing and renewal of all required licenses and permits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Record and update all developments related to Invitations for Proposals (IFPs) or Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in the NEP-UPS-TND-002 “Bids and Contract Registers”.
    • Oversee vendor registration processes with International Oil Companies (IOCs), independents, and other stakeholders.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities on platforms such as NIPEX and NCDMB to enhance business growth.
    • Ensure timely product code additions on NIPEX and initiate permit/license renewals before expiration.
    • Coordinate the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids/proposals for RFPs/RFQs.
    • Lead project planning and costing processes for awarded contracts, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
    • Periodically evaluate project progress and provide strategic insights to optimize delivery.
    • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the industry.

    Requirements

    • Educational Qualification: Candidates shouldp possess an HND / B.Sc in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in upstream operations, project management, or technical/commercial bidding.

    Key Skills:

    • Strong project management, analytical, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in oral and written communication.
    • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
