Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Technical Drawing Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of teaching experience and a strong understanding of technical drawing concepts. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their skills in technical drawing while preparing them for academic and practical success.

Key Responsibilities
Lesson Planning and Delivery:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Teach technical drawing concepts, including drafting techniques, geometric constructions, and 3D visualization.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer tests, assignments, and practical exercises to evaluate students’ progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Ensure students adhere to classroom rules and regulations.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and technical drawing software/tools.
• Participate in school training programs and workshops.

Mentorship and Support:

• Guide and mentor students, fostering their creativity and technical skills.
• Provide extra support for students preparing for exams or competitions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Education, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven teaching experience of 3 to 6 years in Technical Drawing or related subjects.
• Proficiency in drafting tools and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and ability to motivate students to excel.
• Must reside in Ibadan or within close proximity.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in preparing students for external examinations (e.g., WAEC, NECO).
• Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technology integration in the classroom.
