Responsibilities

• Teach all areas of the secondary school curriculum related to Technical Drawing.
• Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the curriculum structure.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Conduct practical sessions and hands-on activities to enhance students’ understanding of Technical Drawing principles.
• Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through real-world applications of Technical Drawing.
• Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback on students’ progress.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, ensuring high standards of academic performance.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create an engaging learning environment.

Requirements

• Possess a B.Ed., B.Sc., B.Eng. or HND(with PGDE) in a related field such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Technical Drawing.
• A minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experiencein teaching or related work.
• Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, geometrical constructions, orthographic projections, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable education.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and inspire students.
• Proficiency in teaching methods and educational procedures specific to technical subjects.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to integrate practical and theoretical knowledge in teaching.
• Possession of a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)certificate is an added advantage.
