What are your tasks?

• Development, implementation and maintenance of an efficient infrastructure for data centres, communication networks, power supply and cooling
• Management of IT assets
• Monitor, identify and resolve production capacity, conflicts and resource deficiencies
• Implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans
• Implementing, supporting, monitoring and maintaining infrastructure software platforms
• Ensuring the highest levels of availability, reliability and performance for virtualisation platforms and associated products.

Job requirements

What skills must you have?

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or business administration or a comparable education
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of:
  • Power supply, cooling and fire protection systems
  • Server management - hardware and virtual systems
  • Storage management and technologies
  • Backup installation and management with Veeam and Backup Exec
  • Disaster recovery
  • Operating systems - VMware, Windows, Unix

• Very good knowledge of network concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching and firewall configurations.
• Expert knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS, cloud storage)
• Fluent language skills in German and English (C1)
• Strong analytical skills
