Tax Manager at SIAO

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and analyzing local state and federal tax returns for organizations
• Improves companies' internal controls for recording and tracking income, property taxes and other information.
• Provides advice on information reporting and withholding tax matters
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
• Identify and mitigate tax risks
• Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Manage and coordinate tax audits

Qualification and Requirements

• A minimum of first degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledgeable in national professional matters on taxes
• Must have at least 8 — 10 gears experience as a qualified accountants
• Possess relevant work experience in Tax Regulatory and People services
• Should have experience working with financial accountant and reporting standards such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Must have project and people management, technical acumen and oral and written communication skills.
