Tax Accountant at People Capacity Management

Job Summary

The Inter-Company Tax Accountant is responsible for handling all tax-related matters, tax planning, and liaising with the tax consultants on issues bordering on tax queries from the tax authorities, ensuring that every unit complies with the tax policies; advising management on the tax implications of business decisions and strategies, and providing expert guidance
on tax-related matters.

Requirement

• Minimum of eight (8) years tax accounting experience covering various tax areas, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, Capital Allowance, and Deferred Tax
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required
• Professional qualification in Accounting or Tax, e.g., ACA, ACCA, ACTI, is mandatory
• Vast experience in handling tax matters, negotiation, resolving tax issues or disputes, responding to tax queries, and preparing tax schedules for payment
• Working knowledge of tax laws and legislations, accounting rules, tax rules regarding specific transactions, and their treatment for both the financial statement and tax return compliance
