We are seeking a Systems Administrator with engineering experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of RHEL and Window servers across physical, virtual technologies and cloud environments. The role includes proactive system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure uptime and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows / RHEL servers and systems (physical, virtual, and cloud-based) to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform hardware upgrades and resource optimization as needed to ensure system uptime and efficiency.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures, including user permissions. Apply OS patches and security updates promptly to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Configuration Management: Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to deploy, configure, and manage server environments at scale.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage and maintain robust backup and recovery procedures, including data integrity checks and disaster recovery drills, to ensure business continuity.
• Daily CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network usage monitoring to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Manage user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights, storage and file system allocations.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) required
• Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• CompTIA Linux+ – preferred

Professional Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience administering RHEL and Windows Server in physical, virtual, or cloud environments.
• Skilled in system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of SELinux, and security updates.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery.

Technical Skills:

• Candidates must be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
• Must be able to install, configure and manage Microsoft and Linux operating systems across versions.
• Experience in using OS / Virtualization management tools like VmSphere, Hypervisors.
• General knowledge in 3-tier architecture design
• Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communications, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking is essential for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Effective communication is crucial for explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent time management is necessary to prioritize and complete multiple tasks without disrupting operations.
• Collaboration skills are key to working seamlessly with IT teams and cross-functional departments.
