System Operations Engineer at Crossover Microfinance Bank

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and support production environments and application systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident handling
• Perform application deployment, configuration, backup, and performance optimization
• Manage and monitor servers and middleware to ensure system stability, availability, and reliability
• Prepare and maintain operations documentation and operational reports

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 2 years experience.
• Familiarity with major public cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, and Tencent Cloud
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Experience working with Nginx, Tomcat, Redis, RabbitMQ, including performance optimization
• Basic understanding of JVM principles and performance tuning
• Proficiency in Shell and/or Python for operations scripting or automation
• Experience with large-scale operations platforms is an added advantage.
