System Engineer at Telvida Communications Services

Job Description

• Telvida Systems is seeking the engage a system engineer that will be in charge of system implementation, support, monitoring, and maintenance as well as testing endpoint devices as it pertains to the VDI and Server environment.
• You will perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability as well as ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Implements and maintains security for Server based systems throughout enterprise.
• Analyzes, optimizes, implements, and maintains Goodwill Multi-Server platform and cloud base computing environment.
• Research, audits, tests, and sets standards for server operating systems, hardware, virtualization platforms and cloud technologies to ensure functionality for Enterprise.
• Installs and configures server hardware in the corporate and cloud environment.
• Audits, maintains, and optimizes Active Directory architecture.
• Implements group policy and write scripts such as PowerShell to meet enterprise standards.
• Experience working on fault tolerant systems, these include but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft File Services, Microsoft SharePoint
  Enterprise Faxing and Printing, Microsoft System Center, VMware ESX, Firewall’s security, Cisco DNA, HPE Synergy, HPE Nimble and 3par.
• Creates reference and operational documentation (Sys diagrams, installation documents, etc.)
• Manages assigned projects and meets deadlines with moderate supervision from Sr. Infrastructure Engineer and Architect or IT Director

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
• MCSE or CCNA certification
• IT background
• At least 1 year of experience in Operating System (OS) vulnerability mediation
• At least 2 years of experience in as a System Engineer handling system
