System Administrator at International Energy Services Limited (IESL)

Summary

• As part of IESL commitment to maintaining a reliable and secure technology environment, IESL is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and competent Systems Administration to support the organization's information technology infrastructure and end users.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide second-level technical support to users across the organization on hardware, software, network, and systems-related issues.
• Manage and administer network servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and technology tools.
• Implement and maintain security controls, including user access management, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring solutions.
• Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and support cybersecurity initiatives.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other identity management systems.
• Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Promote user awareness regarding information security best practices.
• Participate in IT projects such as network upgrades, system implementations, cloud migrations, and technology rollouts.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and security.
• Ensure all IT activities are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, IT Infrastructure Support, or a related role.
• Proven experience managing enterprise networks, servers, cloud environments, and data center operations.
• Experience supporting ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, and IT security solutions.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Microsoft Windows Server Administration
• Fundamentals CompTIA Network+ (N+)
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) ITIL Foundation Certification
