We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Surveyor to support the development and management of its plantation operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, mapping plantation boundaries, supporting field development activities, and providing accurate geospatial data to aid operational planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct land, boundary, topographical, and plantation surveys.
Establish and verify plantation boundaries, block layouts, roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure locations.
Prepare survey reports, maps, drawings, and geospatial data.
Support plantation expansion, field development, and land acquisition activities.
Utilize GPS, Total Station, GIS, drones, and other surveying tools to collect and analyze field data.
Maintain accurate survey records and plantation maps.
Assist in monitoring land use, encroachment, and boundary disputes.
Collaborate with the Farm Manager and other stakeholders to support operational planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Surveying, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably within agriculture, plantation, construction, or land development projects.
Proficiency in GPS, Total Station, GIS software, AutoCAD, and other surveying tools.
Strong analytical, mapping, and reporting skills.
Ability to work in remote field locations and plantation environments.
Knowledge of drone mapping and geospatial technologies will be an added advantage.
