Supervisor - Production at Promasidor

Objectives

• To ensure an effective and efficient Supervision of production operations
• To ensure that daily targets are met with minimal wastage, optimal Quality and output

Responsibilities

• Ensure that packaging and raw materials are always available for the shift Operations
• Ensure proper reconciliation of packaging and raw materials input with the production output and
• giving reasons for variances.
• Ensure proper manning of the machines and timely resolution of technical challenges by prompt
• reporting of issues to Engineering team
• Monitor and arrange production operatives to achieve optimum utilization and output
• Monitor and ensure that adequate utility support is provided during production (SHIFT) operations.
• Ensure that the factory KPIs such as Machine downtime and wastes are reported at minimal level
• throughout the shift Using QCDSM model
• Ensure clean work environment and strict compliance with good manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Compliance with 5S system
• Presentation of daily production figures for verification
• Evaluate and carry out performance appraisal for subordinates
• Carries out any assigned food safety jobs by the head of department
• Any other jobs assigned by superiors

Qualifications

At least a BSc/HND in Engineering related field

Experience

At least 3yrs in production operations in a FMCG

Knowledge & Skills

• Fair knowledge of operating the production machines
• Knowledge of food ingredients and its interaction with one another
• TQM/5S
• General technical knowledge on factory
• operation.
• Equipment maintenance
