Job Summary:

• A leading iron-rod manufacturing and distribution firm is seeking a proactive and hands-on Supervisor to oversee contractor activities and ensure smooth field operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating on-site tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining effective communication between management, contractors, and suppliers. This role is well-suited for an individual who thrives in dynamic environments, is comfortable with field supervision, and is committed to delivering excellence in construction and industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of contractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor on-site operations across multiple project locations to ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to relay progress updates and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Schedule and oversee daily tasks and workforce allocations, adjusting plans as needed for productivity and deadlines.
• Ensure accurate documentation of site activities, including daily reports, work logs, and incident records.
• Manage material deliveries and inventory levels to avoid delays or wastage on-site.
• Enforce the proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools, and safety equipment.
• Facilitate training and guidance for new contractors and site workers to uphold performance expectations.
• Support project execution by identifying bottlenecks and proposing actionable solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or field coordination role within the construction, building materials, or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction site operations, safety practices, and contractor management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems on the field, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday, with flexibility for extended hours as project needs dictate.
• Willingness to travel frequently between multiple project sites and company facilities.
• Familiarity with inventory and logistics processes is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of conducting field inspections in challenging environments.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and report-writing tools.
