Supermarket Manager at Metro and Castle

Job Summary

• The Supermarket Manager is responsible for improving profit and sales target for the business, manage various aspect of operations including procurement, staff and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Study display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing items in a profitable manner.
• Ensure inventory is under control and regular cycle counts are conducted with minimal or no variances.
• Recognize future and present requirements of customers.
• Identify profitability ratio by studying financial statements and operating statement.
• Organize training, orientation, and supervise all subordinates.
• Deal with all complaints, queries, and other related customer service issues.
• Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers.
• Study trends, authorize clearance sales, and also determine all required sales promotions.
• Review merchandising by formulating pricing policies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc in a relevant course.
• 3 - 5 years experience managing a large supermarket.
• Possess leadership, accountability and ownership skills.
• Young, vibrant and must possess a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate high level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
