    Superintendent Pharmacist

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Superintendent Pharmacist to oversee our pharmaceutical operations and use their license to register our premises in compliance with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising dispensing practices, and providing professional pharmaceutical care to customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Use their pharmacist license to register the company’s premises with the necessary regulatory bodies, including the PCN.
    • Ensure the business operates in full compliance with local and international pharmaceutical regulations.
    • Supervise and ensure good pharmacy practice (GPP) in dispensing medications and patient care services.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory audits and inspections.
    • Provide professional counseling to customers regarding prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, and general healthcare advice.
    • Ensure the proper storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
    • Train and supervise pharmacy staff to maintain high operational standards.
    • Monitor drug inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent expiration.
    • Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and certifications.
    • Stay updated with new pharmaceutical laws, trends, and best practices in the industry.

    Requirements

    • Must be a licensed pharmacist registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
    • A B.Pharm or PharmD degree from a recognized institution.
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in a retail or wholesale pharmacy setting.
    • Ability to register the pharmacy premises and ensure full compliance with all legal requirements.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling pharmaceuticals.
