Super Dispatch Officer at GIG Logistics

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Super-Dispatcher Officer to strengthen dispatch coordination, optimize vehicle allocation, and enhance operational oversight across our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement.
• Optimize delivery and dispatch routes to improve turnaround time, vehicle utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate vehicle allocation based on shipment volumes, destinations, capacity, and operational priorities.
• Monitor dispatch activities and provide timely updates on vehicle movements, delays, and exceptions.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, manifests, trip sheets, vehicle documents, and related operational documentation.
• Liaise with Fleet, Hub, Gateway, Riders, Drivers, and Regional Operations teams to ensure seamless dispatch execution.
• Identify dispatch bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve network efficiency and service delivery.
• Prepare dispatch performance reports and provide operational insights to Management.
• Ensure compliance with established dispatch procedures, documentation requirements, and operational controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years\' experience in dispatch coordination, logistics operations, fleet operations, or transportation.
• Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling, route optimization, vehicle allocation, and document management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics/dispatch management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Experience in courier, e-commerce, transportation, or logistics operations is highly advantageous.
