Structural Welder (Offshore) at Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH)

Job Description:

• Perform welding of structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret structural fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and job instructions.
• Carry out fit-up, alignment, and assembly of structural members prior to welding.
• Execute welding using approved processes while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
• Repair or rework defective welds to meet required standards.
• Maintain safety compliance and complete welding activities within project schedules.

Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate or relevant welding qualification in structural fabrication.
• Minimum of 2–4 years experience in structural steel welding.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
• Competent in SMAW, GMAW, and/or FCAW welding processes.
• Strong focus on weld quality, safety compliance, and meeting project deadlines.
• Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year(BOSIET,OSP,SBC,Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry)
