• We are seeking a competent and experienced Structural Engineer with strong field/site experience to oversee structural works and ensure proper execution on construction sites
• . The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on site experience and will be responsible for supervising structural activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise structural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor construction activities, including concrete works, reinforcement placement, and formwork
• Ensure proper implementation of structural designs and engineering standards
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams
• Identify and resolve structural issues during project execution
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
• Verify materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc / HND) in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 4–7 years proven field/site experience in structural engineering (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural systems
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications accurately
• Experience in site supervision and quality control
• Good understanding of concrete works, reinforcement detailing, and structural execution
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional registration or membership (e.g., COREN, NSE)
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Nigerian building codes and site regulations
• Basic knowledge of structural design principles and software
