Job Summary

• Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the structural aspects of construction projects.
• The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, stability, and durability of structures while complying with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components for buildings and infrastructure projects
• Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Review architectural designs to ensure structural integrity and feasibility
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction to ensure compliance with design specifications
• Perform structural assessments and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with architects, quantity surveyors, and other project stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve structural issues
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in structural engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, or similar tools)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering calculations
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional registration or membership (e.g., COREN, NSE)
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Nigerian building codes and international standards
• Experience in project supervision and site coordination.
